Erin Forman

VICE PRESIDENT 
DIRECTOR – SOFTBALL/BASEBALL DEVELOPMENT


Erin Forman is former member of both Softball Canada and Baseball Canada’s National Teams. Erin played in the 2004 Women’s World Series in Japan, and the 2006 World Cup in Taipei. She was named All American, All Conference, and Player of the Year, while playing on a U.S. Softball Scholarship. Erin is an experienced educator and highly sought teacher and coach.  

Jarrett Smith

DIRECTOR – ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE/FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT


Jarrett Smith was an All Canadian Varsity Athlete at the University of Waterloo. He Led the nation in rushing. Jarrett won the Grey Cup with the Hamilton Tiger Cats in ’99, and had an 8 year career as a professional athlete in the CFL. Jarrett is an expert in Athletic Performance, and a Sport Specific Development Specialist.

John Avery

Titus Channer

DIRECTOR – BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT


Titus Channer received the Mike Moser Award as the Canadian University Basketball Player of the Year. Titus capped his university career, as the recipient of the Howie Mackie Award, granted to the Canadian University Athlete of the Year. After an extremely successful career at the university level, Titus continued to compete professionally in Europe for over 5 years. As a member of Canadian Men’s National Basketball Team, he was the starting point guard for the 2002 World Championships.

Oneil Kamaka

LEAD INSTRUCTOR – BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT

ONeil Kamaka went on to play basketball on a U.S. scholarship after winning the 93’ OFSAA championships.  He played for the Canadian University National Team and the Jamaica Men's National team. After completing his post-secondary studies and earning his degree in education, he played professional basketball in Europe. As a NCCP level 3 certified coach, Oneil has served as an assistant coach for the Ryerson University Men's Basketball team (2000-2006), and head coach of George Brown College men’s basketball team (2006-2012).

Harry Jerome Award for Athletic Excellence and was inducted into the Nova Scotia Black Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008. 
Served as the head assistant coach at Bowling Green State University and The University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Andrew Peters

PRESIDENT AND CHAIR

Andrew Peters is the original founding partner for the Rising Stars Athletics & Education. Through the completion of his Undergraduate and Masters Degrees at McMaster, and a PhD at Western, he continued to serve as a coach, teacher, and in various administration positions within the private school industry, while developing innovative youth and sport development programs and partnerships and establishing the Rising Stars Group of Companies.
