At Rising Stars we believe that athletic training and competition provides unique and valuable opportunities to enhance and refine leadership competencies. We also believe that part of a responsible sports culture in any team, school, or organization should be leadership development for competition and beyond.

With the goal of supporting and inspiring positive and healthy team environments, our LEAD Instructors will plan and deliver a unique and carefully crafted combination of team building activities. Sport performance training allows athletes to tap into emotional and mental resources that helps them to play at their prime as often and consistently as possible. Peak performance training will help young athletes perform toward the upper range of their talent and skill, and perform at their prime more consistently, regardless of competitive circumstancesPERFORMANCE TRAINING
In order to be a top team and/or individual prospect in sport, you must continually develop sport specific skills and master game strategies under the leadership of a committed coaching staff, but athletes must also be in peak physical condition to be the best they can be. Speed, Agility, Quickness and Core Strength are the cornerstones to athletic performance. Our philosophy is that athletic performance training allows for the complete development of athletes. Instruction and guidance focuses on repeated application of learned foundations and sport specific knowledge to produce the Total Athlete.SPORT PSYCHOLOGY
Being confident, can make an immediate difference in performance during athletic competition. Our advanced collection of research-based sport psychology tools and techniques will help athletes improve their level of play through use of confidence building skills, imagery & visualization, pre-game/pre-competitive routine establishment, and goal setting.MENTAL TRAINING
Preparing mentally is just as important as preparing physically. Your attitude determines everything. Like other aspects of training, mental skills can be learned. It is not something genetic. For some players it comes more easily than for others. To play at the level each of you are reaching for, you will need to improve on these skills.GOALS & GOAL SETTING
Rising Stars progressive training programs are organized and customized to assist players, coaches, & support staff in reaching athletic and sport specific goals. One of the major advantages of our programs is that they are inclusive, progressive, and individualized, while allowing for the full integration of team strategy. The key to our success is that programming is focused on team and athlete objectives, while allowing for individualized instruction that supports overall athletic and sport specific goals.
GROUP DYNAMICS
Throughout a special series of interpersonal challenges and competitions, essential life & leadership skills (eg. effective communication, problem solving, etc.) will be taught and reinforced. As athletes participate in an interactive series of progressive activities, they will develop, refine and enhance skills, tools and techniques that promote constructive group dynamics and positive team environments.After having 8 of my athletes attend your training, we went on to implement your techniques to the rest of the team. We had a dream season this past year, winning the provincial Western bowl game. It was not just the activities and drills, but your enthusiasm and experience that helped the kids excel.
